Job description
Business Development Manager - Pharmacy
Overview: The purpose of the Business Development Manager - Pharmacy is to create awareness of the Loblaw Preferred Provider Network (PPN) offering in his/her territory, while driving prescription sales in our pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
Cold call & sales visits to potential clients
Actively initiate, negotiate and close deals on Loblaw PPN service agreements
Completing Request for Proposals (RPF) as required
Liaise with pharmacy operations team on new contracts and resolve issues
Cost Analysis and reporting for new and existing clients
Attend industry conferences & events
Requirements
Proven experience meeting aggressive sales goals
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
A genuine passion for driving sales
Travel within the assigned region
Valid Drivers License
Comfortable approaching cold calls for new business.
